I like to put my iPod on shuffle songs mode when I am at work. This way it's a surprise what comes on (I like surprises). Some days it's like my iPod can read my mind and it gives me exactly what I need to hear. I love those days. Today, was not one. Today, my shuffle sucked. I have no idea what I did to it, but it was not my friend. This made work way more complicated than it needed to be. I kept having to skip over the crap that shuffle was producing, disrupting my work flow. Then it got so bad that I had to pick songs. Can you believe that? I actually hate to flip around and find what I wanted to hear, and the thing was I didn't know what I wanted to hear. I just wanted to hear something that made me go, ohh yes, this is the one. And then I would get into this ultra work mode and kick ass.
But that didn’t happen. I fumbled with the iPod and was unsatisfied with the songs I was given. It's not like I have crap on it, but sometimes you just need to hear something and nothing else will do.
Pink Starburst are like gold in my office right now. I swear I could do some mad bartering with the 3 I have. People would be doing my math homework for weeks.
It's Project Runway season again. HOORAY! Although, I am not a fan of how commercial Tim Gunn has become. I didn't think he was a sell out, but it's kind of looking that way. But that's ok, for now, I still love the show and him. And I about died when Heidi said that the model looked like she was poohing fabric. Classic.
In addition to my Euro Adventure, in late March I will be headed to Vegas for my cousins 21st b-day bash. Moral of the story, 2008 is starting out to be a very broke time. A good time, but a broke time.
I would like to conclude with my search for a dress. I have no real event to wear a dress to, so I don't really need one, but something inside is whispering, 'go find it, find a dress.' So I have begun the search. It wasn't too good tonight. But, thankfully I am headed to Chicago this weekend for some shopping and a dress will be found. You can't force these things, but you can play a killer game of hide-and-go-seek.
