I went to the circus tonight, Circus Flora to be exact. It was nice. Different than what I thought. I was imagining clowns, lions and ugly people. This was nice and fun. Their slogan was Intimate and Astonishing, which really fit the bill. I was in awe at some of the things. Also I was in awe at how people discover they have a flair for standing on top of horses as they gallop around a circle? How do you write, 'I was the hula hoop girl in a circus. I can hula 10 hoops at 1 time on a resume? These are the things that I wonder about . . .
The DDP was a very shocking good time. I was in awe at the amount of people there, maybe 200. Some came in from as far as Canada for it. This was way better than the wake when people just pointed at me, recognizing me as the youngest. This time people got to talk to me and they were quite impressed with what little Jessie had been up to. I guess I don't realize what I've done cause I always look at what I still don't have. I think I need to appreciate what is in front of me more. Just a thought. It always seems to be what's right in front of you that you are missing. Damn farsightedness . . .

We stayed the entire game, til the bottom of the 14th when Cards score the homer finally. Thanks again for the tickets!
I can't believe you stayed that long, you are a true fan. I didn't even stay up for the whole thing.
The circus was pretty cool. I think it's in town till Sunday, so if you need someone to go with, I would totally go again.
