Sunday in the city . . .

My dreams are being taken over by dancing lobsters and an all whale band, is something telling me that I am going to Maine soon?

I just spent the morning traveling to various rehabs around STL acting like I am going to drop $300,000+ because it was once a factory. That was a fun way to start a Sunday. I am a perpetual house looker. It's something that we did a lot of growing up. It seemed like every Sunday we would grab the folio and hop in the car. I always enjoyed those times and it seems now that I am on my own I can't shake the habit. The places we went to were amazing, but there is just something about having my own yard, my own little fence, my own garden that I cherish. Condos are ok if your not into the outdoors, but I, despite allergies, am a huge outdoor fan. Nothing beats a good night around the fire pit with friends.

Softball is going well. Thanks for asking. Same with work.

Some new people moved in to the building behind us. I was walking up the back escape last night and I looked at the new neighbors window. It was really creepy because it looked like there was a woman in the window staring at me. Then I noticed it was on the curtain. So now my mind is thinking that this is one of those whole seeing-the-Virgin-Mary-in-a-piece-of-toast things and that I should call the news to have them investigate. But it turns out they just have this really creepy curtain with a faint image of a woman on it. Odd people those new neighbors are . . .

I think when I visit my sister in July I am going to make her go to Wyoming with me. I tell people this and they ask what's in Wyoming that I want to see. I always answer the same thing, what's not in Wyoming. It's just like any place else. It have towns and landscape and museums. Why not go visit it? Plus as much as I do love my little Omaha, I am getting tired of it. You can only do so much. Plus it was Wyoming or going to Chimney Rock and sadly for me, the CR National Park is the biggest joke of a National Park. They didn't even have pictures on their website. Boo to that. I love pictures. Obviously.

PS - I really want to buy a Digital SLR so let me know if you have any tips for me. I am thinking a Nikon D40. Wired Magazine gave it a great review and I trust those guys over the store guys any day. Also not to spoil what may be to come, but I did purchase the cutest bunt pan ever in the shape of a bee hive and once I make it I will be posting images of the masterpiece. I am even going to be making little bees to go on it. So cute!
