I am mad that I can't buy music from the iTunes UK site. So to retaliate I have been getting the free song of the week from the iTunes Latino site, which I am able to buy music from. I really think that I should be able to buy music from whatever iTunes site I want to. Don't they want the money?
Moving is going slowly. I am all moved in but still have quite the mess at my mom's house. Who knew I owned so much stuff? We get Directv on Wednesday so that will help with the quietness of the place. I don't think my roommate is use to old places since she is constantly wondering why it is so cold. You just gotta love old homes and their no insulation. I am use to it, but she is not happy. I almost think she is going through some buyers remorse. It's interesting.
My poor, sweet Larry (my car) is in the shop today. I needed to get the oil changed and I usually do it myself but with his old age I felt it was better to take it to the dealer to see if they can find anything wrong with it. They did, of course, but it was things like needing new rear brakes and getting the transmission flushed. Which I expected out of the service. I told them to put the new brakes on but was advised from a mechanic friend of mine not to flush the trans. Apparently after going so long without flushing the trans, I have never done it and the car is hitting 100,000 miles, it could actually damage the car if I do so now. So basically the gunk that is in the hoses of my car might be holding it together. Not surprising. What was a shock is how much they wanted to fix the shifter. I can't recall if I mentioned that the button one pushes to shift their car fell out of my car and I was now using the button/pencil to shift the car. They wanted $300 for that. My pencil is free and doing fine. Plus it gives my car that extra bit of quirk.
