An Ode to Southwest

I love Southwest Airlines. Here's why:

- They don't charge you to change tickets even if you do it several times in 1 day.
- They refund your money or credit your account no questions asked if you cancel.
- They have cheap fares and fly non-stop into cities that my siblings live in. If i took American to Omaha I would have to stop in Chicago and then go to Omaha. So my 1 hour flight would take about 3 or so hours at least.
- When you call their 1-800- number you don't have to listen to any automated person prompting you to press a button or say why your calling. You get HUMANS!!! (the number is 1-800 I Fly SWA)
- They send you 12 free drink coupons when you earn your free ticket.

There are more reasons but I think you get my point. Southwest has a place in my heart. Ding

On another note, last night I was able to attend the Missouri vs. Illinois Bragging Rights game. I got a call from a friend at the last min telling me she had gotten tickets. We ha no idea that the tickets, which her grandma had given her, were sitting row G right by Whitey Herzog and the new Missouri Senator Clair. (we are on a first name basis now.) The game was great despite the loss. And you couldn't beat the seats. I felt like I was one of the Entourage guys. They are always going to Lakers games and sitting really close surrounded by celebs. It was awesome.

You know what else was awesome, New York. I haven't mentioned my trip yet. The short version is that it was great. I am in love with Le Crossant Shop at 34th and 6th. The Tree tops London's tree 2 fold. The Daily Show taping was awesome!!! We saw Tarzan and sat in row D! And of course, the shopping at Zara. What more could you ask for?

I am also pretty happy because both my sisters drive in today for Christmas. I love it when my family gets together. I love my big family. I wouldn't trade it for the world.
