This is where the title goes

The commercials that ran during the opening ceremonies for the Olympics were amazing.  They were just beautiful.  You know what else was beautiful?  The way the Italians made the ski man out of people then had him go off the ramp.  That was one of the COOLEST things that I have seen in years.  Well done Italians.

I heard 3 very random songs to night that all evoked some emotion.  1st song that came on was Hanson - Mmm Bop.  I think tonight was the first time that I have ever heard the song the entire way through.  I was never a teeny-bopper so Hansen was not my thing.  It was just really funny listening to it because i recall the days when it was all the rage and I was sitting there going 'what?'   If you listen carefully you will hear the record scratches in the background.  It was hilarious and of course I had to blare it and sing obnoxiously.  Awesome.

Then right after Hansen came Thursday's infamous Cross out the Eyes.  This song I was all about at one point in time.  This song, along with several others bring me straight back to Senior year of high school and freshman year of college.  Man were those some times.  I am amazed that I survived those times where I think back on it.  At least I am more amazed that I was able to do so good in school during those times.

Finally I flipped stations and Call On Me came on.  I am not sure which DJ's mix I was listening to but that didn't matter.  I was instantly transported to London and Liz and Dahlia and Josh and Frenchie and Tnas and Mike and all those amazing wonderful times.
Seriously I love music for that reason.  I love how a song can make me remember and feel so much.  It's splendid.

I think I am going to make a mix cd of all those songs right now.  It will be the most whacked cd ever created by me.  I can't wait.  Your homework assignment is to find songs that remind you of good things and put them on a cd. It's an instant cheer up.

But then again, so is this:

Night kids!
