When did it become Wednesday night? Seriously, time is running away from me. It's not cool. I can handle a power walk, but not running. Not when I have this much stuff to do.
I have come up with a new life plan. I am not sure how often I mention my life plans on the b-log, but I tell my close friends about my new LP's once every couple of days. They say that I am crazy. I say that I am just making sure I seek out all options before committing to one. I know that I can change it if I don't like it, but all my LPs seem to involve some sort of investment of serious cash, so I would rather not toss that kind of change around.
Newest plan involves buying Italian/Spanish villas and turning them into upscale B&Bs. This plan works a lot better than most f my plans because this plan is one of the more realistic ones that I have come up with. I would eventually want to build compounds in Spain, Italy and where ever else the wind takes me. I would like my compounds to consist of 6 or so smaller houses that can each hold anywhere from 2-6 people surrounded by a main house where one could have use of a kitchen and so forth.
This type of system is done a lot in the US, but rarely overseas. I feel that this method would be inviting for large groups that crave privacy from the outside world yet also want some privacy within the groups. Hotels can get way to pricey and are often very stale when it comes to making one feel like home. I would like to run a place that made people feel like it was their second home without the huge investment. What they don't know is that it would have been cheaper for them to get the second home than come to my place for the 14th year in a row. It will an addicting place to be.
I'm not going to lie, I am pretty sure the idea crawled into my head last night because I fell asleep watching the movie "Come September." Oops!
Once again the flaw in the plan is the lack O funds. But hey, that's what the lottery is for.

Howdy, kiddo. There is a B&B for sale in the Bahamas. It's the oldest hotel on the island and they want diddly-squat for it. My buddy Phil's friends are looking into purchasing and renovating it. Maybe next summer. We'll see.
