Started new job today. It took me at least a half hour to figure out how to operate the chair. It was a special order piece that the person before me had arranged. Apparently he had a bad back. I am not sure how the chair helps it. All I know is that for 20 min today I was staring at the ceiling whilst trying to get the chair to stay upright. It was ridiculous.
The entire office is head to toe Ikea. That is not a bad thing, but it does make me feel like I am living in a catalog.
The place charges default $125 per hour. Today I work for 6 hours on a client and billed them $750. That is insane. Clearly I am in the right business.
More to come later when I do more than master the chair at work.
