Who wants to be Bok Choy?

Some Mexican lady coughed on me and I think she gave me bird flu. Where is Dustin Hoffman to save me?

My sister Em and her hubby Al left today officially ending the holiday celebration at the Sontheimer house. It's very clear that we need to do one of two things in order for next year to be successful.
1 - Create a shrinking devise so that my entire family can sit in one room all at the same time.

OR
2 - Move.

I have no idea how we all managed to fit when we were younger. But one thing is for sure, the family is not getting any smaller. I am going to put in a call to Disney and see if they still have shrinking devise used in Honey, I Shrunk the Kids. I'm sure it's on a backlot somewhere. . . .

Speaking of Disney I haven't been to Disney World in awhile. That almost saddens me because we were regulars for quite sometime. Sea World has a new Shamu show that I have been seeing adverts for. That would be cool, except how every time I go to Sea World I get separated from the Fam and lost for a few hours. It was cooler when I was younger cause the lost and found children's center gives the lost kids some posters and cookies. But last time we went and I got lost I was to old for the poster and cookies. Without those 2 things it's just not as fun.

I got an IRA for Christmas. How adult of me. My mom gave each kid an IRA and some nice pocket change for our big gift. That was quite big. Did you know that if you invest 2,000 every year from your 21-28th birthdays then stop investing you will have more money than if you started investing at 28 and kept going till you were 65? These are the fun facts that you learn when your sister majors in Finance.

My mom kind of freaked out this year. We always go to Mass on Christmas Eve. This year we all were getting ready to leave for mass when my mom said that we could sit and watch Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat instead of going to mass. Clearly we all jumped on this chance and watched this WACKED OUT Canadian version of Joesph. Serious what were you thinking Donnie Osmond? I still stuck with tradition and went to Midnight mass with the Watkins. That gang is always a good time and I don't think that I have really hung with them since Sarah Watkins got married this summer. I feel like the third daughter in their family. That makes me happy.

I hope that we are all keeping up with the new season of Project Runway. Clearly it won't be as great as last season, but there are signs of promise. It's the only TV show, other than the Daily Show, that I make an effort to watch. So you should too.

I want to go somewhere great after I graduate in May. My only issue is where. A good friend of mine is all about going to India, but I am not sure if I am prepared for that adventure. I was thinking more Thailand or South America. Possible Australia/New Zealand. I am not sure if I will end up any of these lovely places, but the possibility is having me look up flights and hotels. I can spend hours planning a trip that I will never go on. It's almost a bad habit, but there is so much of the world out there that I haven't seen and not a lot of time to see it. If I would just win Powerball already I wouldn't have money issues. The most expensive part of any trip is getting there. But it's always worth it in the end, no matter the cost.
