I was just looking up things to do in Zermatt when I came across this.
"Jacques - your friendly mule guide, invites you to enjoy an unforgettable excursion on mule back. You don't have to be an experienced rider, and with us you're always welcomed."
Where do I sign up?
Do we all recall my dream of riding down to the bottom of the Grand Canyon via mule? Well that dream was crushed when I found out that those rides get booked up years in advance. Not true with my friend Jacques. He always has room. At least that is what the site says. Anyway I am having Dahlia make a call to good ole Jacques and then kids, I might actually fulfill a dream of mine. What dream is that, you ask. It's the one I call near death by donkey. I don't plan on bad things happening but a combo of high altitude and donkeys always means trouble.
The more I read about Zermatt, the more it seems like a high-end, high altitude Branson. They have bowling, crazy golf, and donkeys. That pretty much sums up Branson. All they need are some out dated, past their prime country music singers and you wouldn't be able to tell the difference.
3 more days till freedom.
