After making millions off of my hit TV show, 'The Allotment,' I have decided that I will invest the profits, (well what is left over after I build my dream home with a Bread Co attached and travel the world) and invest in a high speed train service to run throughout the US.
Not all cities are going to get a piece of my train action. I am going to focus my routes on connecting larger cities. Those of you who live in small towns will just have to drive yourself into the cities, sorry. Say if I built a route form STL to KC. (For those not from Missouri that is St. Louis to Kansas City) I would offer express service which would take about 2 hours. I would also offer a slower service whch would only stop at Columbia which would take maybe 3 1/2 hours. The same kind of idea which a STL to Chi-Town route. Express service and slower service with a possible stop in Springfield maybe Bloomington/Normal. Some major cities that I plan on connecting are Boston to Providence RI to Philly, to New York, to DC. From Philly you can go to Pittsburgh and Cleveland. Then down to Columbus and Indianapolis. From there you can go to Chi-Town or STL or Memphis. You see how I am thinking here? I thought you would like it.
Here is the best part. I am pretty sure that I can get Airlines to support the system. Let me tell you why . . . With the travel world feeling a little low they have cancelled a lot of flights. Now you have to go to bigger cities to get flights. This means that the airlines have more puddle jumper flights. These flights are a non winning (which would be losing) situation. Not only are you only taking 20 or so people, but you still have landing fees and crew to pay and gas to guzzle. Clearly, if I were to offer them a chance to cut these small routes and go in on travel deals with them, I bet they would listen real good. They dont even have to cut staff. We can have flight attendents become train attendents. Do the same thing only stay on the ground.
To avoid the issues with the freight companies, which pretty much own the railroads, I will build my own tracks. My trains are going to be ultra modern and operate magnetic force. Kind of like that Japanese train system that connects there island airport to the mainland. This way green companies, those who support the environment (are there any of those?) will feel compelled to use them since I am being environmentally friendly.
We can conclude 2 things from this post.
1. I am awesome
2. I get on a bit of a day dream spell when at work.

You have no idea how much I want to correct your grammar in this post and several others. It's seriously bothering me.
Fiss - Bad grammar is what makes me, me. If it were good grammar, well it just wouldn't be the same
