LIfe is best served Random

I have had a really awesome weekend. I am going to go in chronological order, so if you want to hear the really juicy stuff, feel free to skip to the end.

So Friday was spent cleaning the house and working. It was a typical Friday. Instead of going to dinner with Justin, which again I am sorry, I went over to Nick and Fissel's APT. It was good times. I haven't hung out with them since New Years probably. It's been too long. It is really freaky seeing Fissel in jeans. I have known the kid for 3 years and never once seen him in anything other than khakis. Booski is now a platinum blond. I am very jealous of this. For some reason I have always wanted to go blond, but never have made it. We put her hair over mine and well folks, I should so be a platinum blond. I was beautiful.

Saturday came and found me up early after a late night. I had to make cheesecake and prepare my crock-pot for dinner. I worked both jobs and got home just in time to receive one of the best phone calls that I have ever gotten. Dahlia is in Middle France right now visiting Jean. He got on internship at some company located in a small town in France. They went out and bought a calling card just to talk to me. That makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. I got to talk to Jean for a while which was awesome since we haven't had a good chat since October. I am def going to visit him when I am in London this summer. The evening ended with the Fam coming over and all of us having dinner and trying to assemble Dominic's summer toys. I really love my family. We are pretty awesome, you should really come over for a chat sometime.

Today I went on a Target marathon. My mom was desperate for this china that she saw and it took us 4 Targets to get her completely satisfied. I then vegged on the couch and watch Spanglish, which is really good.
Hear is where the night gets interesting. I get a call from a girl that I work with, Katie. She worked on the film, "The Game of Their Lives" while it was filming here. Tonight was the STL premiere and she wanted me to go with her. Obviously I said yes. I ended up going to the Esquire to do the film stuff, then was at the STL Soccer Museum for the movie reception and then I spent the rest of the evening outside at the "O" Bar in the Chase Park Plaza. If I looked to the right, I saw a wall, but if I looked to the left I saw Jerry Butler. You may know him as Gerard Butler who recently played the part of the Phantom in "Phantom of the Opera." Remember how I said that he was very attractive as the Phantom? Well surprise surprise he is just as attractive in person, but even better is that he smelled good. I do believe the highlight of the night was when he jumped up on a chair and started to sing "Music of the Night." My heart dropped.

I am not big into Hollywood and worshiping celebrities, it's just not my style. They are just doing their job. I don't scream and cry whenever I see a really attractive stockbroker, so I am not going to scream and cry whenever I see a celebrity. But listening to one of the most beautiful songs ever written being performed live by a man with an amazing voice, well it got to me. It tugged at the heart strings.

Our head boss at work is so in love with Jerry, that we had to call her to tell her to join us. She did and we told everyone that it was her birthday so that they would all come over and talk to her. It was just awesome. I met a bunch of people, but the best part was people watching. Then men were so ridiculous. All they wanted was ass, and you could so easily tell that. We sat back and watched them try to work their stuff. Jerry did succeed with one chick. She was back down about 30 min later with sex hair. Jerry most likely had passed out. Noting his level of intoxication and the bored look on the chicks face when she returned, I am assuming things weren't quite as up to it as originally planned. We were talking to one of the guys who was in My Big Fat Greek Wedding and he was telling me how the drink he ordered was $82. He then told me about how he paid $120 at a bar in LA for a shot of whisky. What the hell? Feed a homeless child for that rate. It's insane.

It was such a good night, I laughed so freaking much that my face now hurts. These past few paragraphs do not do the night justice, but that is all that you are getting from me.

The best part about my night is that I know that when I go upstairs I am going to have some really good dreams and sleep in my really awesome bed.

Hope you had a good weekend and that you have a good week
